Arguably the Biggest song rivalry, 1Don and 1Gad hit the Ghanaian music industry when Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale both decided to release tunes coined from their nicknames.
Shatta Wale was first to release his song ‘1Don’ before his fierce genre rival Stonebwoy decided to give him some competition by dropping ‘1Gad’ all in attempt to prove who is the real king of the Dancehall Genre in Ghana.
In a weekly countdown by Accra based Radio station, 3FM that ends Yesterday 13th March, 1Gad placed number 5 and 1Don follows it immediately at number 6 while Okyeame Kwame’s Yekoo, Bajoo by Kwesi Arthur, Spiritual by Kidi and Kwame Yogot’s Biibi Besi sits top of the chart respectively.
