4×4 used to be one of the notably one of the enviable groups ever to exist in Ghana those days most especially during the peak of their career where hit songs from their camp was nothing to talk of.
Things changed to bad after Captain Planet went on a solo project releasing ‘Obi Girl’ featuring Kofi Kinaata which took over the streets of Ghana making it an anthem across.

Coded a hardcore member of the group also followed up with another hit solo ‘Edey Pain Dem‘ which also gained recognition across.

PhreshPrinx however could not replicate his colleagues making him vanish from the music scene for some time now. Captain Planet has however resurrected the hopes of the 4×4 fans by indicating that, they still exist.

During an interview with Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda, Captain Planet said despite everything, the group is still together.
He explained that all three members of the group are working on solo projects for the time being.
He said:
‘4×4 is still together, we have not parted ways. Currently, we are all doing our own music, but that does not mean we are no longer a team.’
Captain Planet was quick to add that he cannot speak on behalf of his colleagues but he reassured fans that a news song from their camp will drop soon.
