Growing up as kids, our parents have always quoted the old bible proverb which says “spare the rod and spoil the child” whenever we did something bad and then after, give us the beating of our lives.
And it always worked quite, because nobody actually likes to take lashes.
Back then, i would have done anything to fight against the act of canning itself but when i see how far I’ve come, i can say that those lashes have shaped my life in way.
Following the recent banning of canning in school, one would wonder how teachers are going to control some excuse me to say extremely extremely stubborn students.
