A needy but excellent Junior High School and Senior High School graduate at Prampram in Tema, has appealed for support from the public for financial backing to further her education to enable her to attain her dreams.

Tetteh Eugenia Majesty is her name, a nineteen-year-old female who sells motivational and other books on the roadside at Prampram. She scored an excellent grade in the 2019 West Africa Secondary Schools Examination(WASSCE).

According to her, due to financial difficulties from her family, she started schooling at the latter part of her years, so she decided to write both the BECE and the WASSCE at the same year when she was able to raise some money through hawking on the road.

She continued that, after scoring Grade 1 in English, Social Studies, Religious and Moral Education, French and Ga Dangbe in the 2019 BECE, she decided to study hard at home and then registered for the WASSCE private 2019 Examination.

After the release of her result, she scored A1 in Social Studies, B3 in English Language, B3 in Economics, B2 in History, B3 in Government and C5 in Integrated Science without receiving and formal education from the classroom.

One amazing thing was that she never failed in any of the subjects she sat down for but had all passed.

Ghananewss.com gathered that she raised money through her small books business she has been doing on the road, which enabled her to register during the WASSCE private examination, due to the family’s inability to raise money for the registration exercise.

This sad story of the student came to light when one Teacher Nartey who taught her at the Junior High School, recognized her for her academic exploits and has decided to help the young girl to get the necessary support for her education.

In an exclusive one on one interview with Ghananewss.com, discernably worried Eugenia Tetteh made it known that she wants to pursue her education to the tertiary level, so wants Ghanaians to buy more of her books to raise money for her education, as she has not got anyone to support her to the top yet.

She revealed:

” I will be very delighted if I get the necessary support to further my education to the tertiary level”.
