Abatay Recounts day JJ Rawlings dashed him an expensive Watch for introducing him to Footballers.

Renowned sports Journalist, Kofi Brako Asare popularly known as Abatey has shown Ghanaians the kind heart Late Jery John Rawlings possess.

Back in 2011, some former Footballers placed a courtesy call on the former president at his office. The sports presenter was available to introduce all of them to him.

According to Abatay, his good introduction skills didn’t go unnoticed by JJ, who rewarded him with a swatch watch.

The sports presenter recounts the moment with a Facebook post which reads “Exactly 9 years today, the late former president Rawlings dashed me a very nice watch because of the way l introduced him to the former footballers who had paid a courtesy call on him”
