Former Burniton Music signee, Kelvin Brown popularly known as ‘Kelvynbwoy’ is now becoming known for dissing fellow musicians subtly.

On a new interview with Jay Foley on Joy Prime, Kelyvnbwoy has made some comments which people think is directed to his former boss Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

According to him, it’s being long since he heard a real dancehall song in Ghana. He remarked that almost every musician is now doing Afrobeats music genre and it’ll be good if they can admit it and be identified as such.

“Its been a long time, Its been a very long time I heard a real dancehall song in Ghana. Be true to yourself. When was the last time you heard a dancehall song in Ghana?” he asked Jay Foley.

He then went on to say that all musicians who identify themselves as Dancehall artistes yet do Afrobeats songs all the time are pulling Ghana’s agenda of conquering on the international scene backward.

He noted that now all artistes across Africa sound the same, an indication that they do the same genre which is afrobeat.

Kelvyn Boy said all these while answering a question on Joy Prime on why all new songs from artistes in Ghana currently have the same Beat Per Minute.
