Former NDC Central Regional Chairman, Bernard Allotey Jacobs was yesterday suspended from the party for his persistent anti-Party conduct.

Allotey has responded to his suspension via Joy FM today. He noted that he has accepted the suspension wholeheartedly but that will not stop him from saying the truth and also going on radio.

Speaking in an interview with Joy FM’s Evans Mensah today, he said:

“A political party is a voluntary organization that is spearheaded by a group of people whom we elect to office to steer the affairs of the party, its voluntary, so if they have met and have decided that they are going to suspend me that is beautiful I have nothing to say, but that will not stop me from going to radio programmes and standing up for the truth; when it is good I will say it when it is bad I will say it”.

The interview was monitored by mynewsgh.com.

Background

Mr Allotey Jacobs has been much criticized for always criticizing his own party on major platforms such as Peace FM, where he has become a regular panelist.

On Wednesday, the party withdrew from all political discussions on Peace FM, mainly because of Mr. Allotey Jacobs permanence there as a “social commenter” aligned to the NDC and the dictatorial tendencies of the host of the political show, Kokrokoo.
