American actress Naya Rivera has been confirmed dead after she supposedly drowned in a lake 5 days ago.
Her body was recovered after a search was launched and TMZ has confirmed that the body is that of the 33-year-old screen goddess.
As reported, the actress was declared missing after a boat trip to Lake Piru with her four-year-old son Josey.
Authorities were called when the youngster was found on the boat alone.
He told them his mom Rivera had jumped into the lake but hadn’t returned.
A search immediately commenced, including divers, helicopters, and high-tech equipment. Rivera’s body was recovered five days after initially going missing.
