American rapper & dancer, T.I and his wife had what it tastes like to have a Ghana Jollof in the mouth.

The two love birds had the nicely cooked jollof rice at Twist Ghana.

According to a source close to them, T.I declared Ghana’s Jollof rice as the best though he is yet to taste Nigeria’s.

West Africa steams over jollof rice war. This simple question has grown into a fierce debate in some West African countries, where jollof rice is a national delicacy. The celebration dish is hugely popular in countries such as Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Cameroon.

Sierra Leone recently beat Ghana to win 2019 Jollof Competition in US.

T.I and his team are in Ghana as part of the Year of Return initiative.

They recently visited the Elmina Castle.

Lots of African-Americans in the diaspora have booked their tickets to visit Ghana to retrace their family roots and to experience the life and culture of people.

The Year of Return, an initiative aimed at marking 400 years since the first black slaves landed in Jamestown Virginia is taking off like fire.
