Ghana and Swansea forward Andre Dede Ayew continued with his incredible season as he scored over the weekend to become the highest-scoring Ghanaian player across Europe in the ongoing season.

The 30-year old scored in Swansea City’s 2-2 draw against Blackburn on Saturday.

The Black Stars captain has now scored 14 goals in all competitions for the club with 12 goals in the league and two goals in the league cup.

“Unlucky to not get three points today, we left everything out there. we keep going!! Fans were great as always”, Ayew stated after the game.

Ayew has been impressive for Swansea City in the ongoing season where he has rediscovered his form after struggling in the 2018/19 season.

The 30-year old for the first time since the 2015/16 season has hit double figures in the area of goals.

In the 2015/16 season, he scored 12 goals in 35 appearances for the club while in the ongoing season he has scored 12 goals in 33 appearances.

Kudus Mohammed is next on the list of top-scoring Ghanaian players in Europe and the youngster has bagged in nine goals in 18 appearances for Danish club FC Nordsjælland.

Kudus was on target for the club over the weekend in their 2-1 win over Esbjerg in the league.

Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew broke his five-game goal drought as he scored in Crystal Palace win over Brighton on Saturday.

Jordan increased his tally to seven goals in the season.
