One corner hitmaker, Justice Amoah popularly known as Patapaa has revealed he will boycott the upcoming VGMA edition.

The singer infamously stormed out of the VGMA award ceremony back in 2018 when Fancy Gadam’s Total cheat was crowned most popular song of the year ahead of his street anthem One corner.

A decision that he is yet to get over and with disappointment all over his face during an interview with GNA entertainment, he voiced out his intention not to partake in the award scheme until the organizers change the criteria they use in awarding hardworking musicians.

I’m still not happy about the disappointment back in 2018 after they failed to award my hit song ‘One Corner’ despite the impact it made on the global stage. I have decided not to take part in the awards again but I wish them well and urge them to do the right things,’’ he told the host

This is not the first time a big artist step up boldly to voice out his/her displeasure on the award scheme and it’s becoming clear that there’s something The award organizers need to fix.
