One of the power activists of the New Patriotic Party prior to their 2020 election victory is Legendary Musician Samini.
The High Grade Family Boss declared his support for the Akufo-Addo led Government and made that even more clear with a campaign song.
Fast Forward the President has presented a tall list of Deputy Ministerial nominees pending their approval and one industry mate Mark Okraku Mantey got the nod to serve as one for Ministry of Tourism, art and Culture.
A Facebook post by one “Mohammed Abdul-Aziz alleges that Samini was promised the same position but things didn’t go as planned and that’s a situation that got the musician disappeared in the President.
“I’m very disappointed because the president promised me a deputy minister position in the tourism, Art and culture ministry but l don’t know what happened last minute, this tribal game won’t help Ghana” Samini allegedly said.
But the Reggae/Dancehall icon stated emphatically that the news is false and he has never held such discussion with the President hence it should be ignored.
