Not long ago, we pressed here on the murder of newly elected Assemblyman and top Mobile Money vendor, Mac Greenline known in real life as Marcus Mawuli Adzahli.

Information gathered by Joy News indicates that the assailants numbering eight broke into the home of the deceased and attempted making away with his savings.

Mr. Adzahli, who was elected in December 2019, attempted to struggle with the assailants and was allegedly shot multiple times in the chest, stomach, and head, leading to his death.

New reports have it that angry Sogakope youth have closed down the Sogakope District Police Station and have also blocked the Sogakope-Aflao/Sogakope-Sege road — which serves as an international road to Togo, Nigeria and other neighbouring countries.

The youth took this decision prior to negligence on the side of the Police in the area when their hotline was called by the deceased to come and save them.

CoverGhana.com reported that the deceased before he was murdered called the police service hotline and reported that, his house has been attacked by unknown people who wants to kill him and his family for rescue but nothing was done by the Ghana Police Service to safe his life from the assassins.

According to sources, unknown police personnel picked up the call and said he was speaking from Accra, Ghana Police Service headquarters, but did nothing about the incident until he was stabbed and shot dead.

Sources revealed that the police on duty said, they have no proper guns, no bullets, and other protective logistics to face the assassins who stabbed and shot the deceased.
