Robert Kardashian’s parents are Helen and Arthur Kardashian. All four of his great-grandparents were Armenians who left the Russian Empire for the United States at the beginning of the 20th century. They were all from the modern Turkish cities of Karakale and Erzurum. Before the 1915 start of the Armenian genocide, the family departed the Russian Empire.
Robert and Kris Jenner have two children together, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, before divorcing in 1991. The Olympic champion decathlete Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn Jenner, and Kris later got married.
