One of the resolutions of maverick politician and businessman, Kennedy Agyapong, as he turns 60 today is to shift from be a foul-mouthed public figure to a responsible adult who is conscious of his speech and utterances.
Many Ghanaians know Kennedy Agyapong to possess the ‘no-nonsense’ attitude since he does not hesitate to castigate, insult, threaten and verbally abuse anyone who steps on his toes.
Speaking on his television station NET2 today to mark his 60th birthday which was monitored by Celebritiesbuzz.com.gh, the outspoken Member of Parliament said: “A lot of people have complained about my sharp tongue and I promise to change. I’m now 60 and I have to live my age.
Explaining why he insults people on live television, Kennedy Agyapong said he strategically does that to instil fear in his opponents.
“I don’t deliberately insult people; sometimes I do that, especially to political opponents to stop them from attacking me,” he explained.
He made the promise after well-wishers and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who thronged the studios of Net 2 television to mark his milestone impressed upon him to change his ways.
Kennedy Agyapong has been on a crusade to expose all fake pastors in the country who have been duping and milking their unsuspecting congregants for far too long.
He didn’t promise to move away from that resolve but he promises to be decorous and civil in his speech.
