Asamoah Gyan is very angry at The Sun for tagging Thomas Partey as a player from a poor country.
Prior to Thomas Partey’s first match, some international media houses had started pulling him down. One of those media outlets is a popular sports website, THE SUN — based in UK.
In one of their articles that captures the life of the Black stars player, they described Thomas Partey as someone who has become rich after his “poverty-stricken existence in Ghana”.
Their post first angered award-winning Ghanaian media personnel Nana Aba Anamoah who blasted them.
Asamoah Gyan has added his voice to the brouhaha.
He fired off on Twitter:
