Black Stars General Captain Asamoah has vowed never to listen to Joy FM anymore after accusing the radio station of disrespecting him with a post of his infamous penalty miss.
Joy FM on their social media page uploaded a photo of Asmoah Gyan’s sad penalty miss at the 2010 world cup in South Africa, asking Ghanaians if the moment still hurts them. “Fellow Ghanaians, does Asamoah Gyan’s penalty still hurt you? The caption reads.
No doubt it’s still a heartbreaking moment no Ghanaian or loyal african will like to remember, including the player himself considering the fact that the faith of a whole continent lies on the shoulders of our Black Stars that very day.
The Legon Cities striker feels Joy FM’s tweet is a way of selling him to Ghanaians to reign insults on him which is an act of disrespect. It is this reason he also lost respect for the Accra based radio station and won’t tune to their channel to listen to their programs anymore.
