A Muslim cleric from Zimbabwe who doubles as the head of the fatwa department of The Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe, Ismail ibn Musa Menk, also known as Mufti Menk has shared a very motivational word on his Twitter account with regard to how we sometimes treat good people.
Mufti Menk says because we sometimes disagree with some people over a few issues, we tend to condemn them and cut them off without looking at the good that they have been doing.
He explained that disagreement doesn’t make someone a bad or evil person before admonishing all to be able to differentiate between the one who respectfully disagrees and the one who is evil.
He tweeted;
“At times, we condemn good people because we disagree with them over a few issues. We refuse to see the good they’re doing. Disagreements do not automatically make a person extreme, bad or evil. Learn to distinguish between the one who respectfully disagrees & the one who is evil!”
Such a deep message.
