Brandon Smith who is popularly known by his stage name B. Smyth was born on March 12, 1994. Smith was a well-known American hip-hop and R&B recording artist and dancer. Smith hailed from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The youngster started with his music career by frequently making posts of his own covers of popular songs on YouTube. Some of the videos include Stay by Rihanna and Quickie by Miguel. While he did that, some of the videos Smith posted on YouTube got over 500,000 views on his channel. These videos gave him popularity and led to him performing at various high-profile talent shows. At some of these shows Smith performed where his style of performance drew comparisons to prominent artists like Chris Brown and Usher.

Smith who was signed to Motown later switched to ByStorm Entertainment and RCS Records on December 4, 2015. Smith later released his first single with ByStorm and RCA, titled “Creep” where he featured Young Tug. . The single was produced by Dun Deal. He has since been with the label until his sudden demise.
