Reports in Catalonia indicate that Barcelona would let Prince go at the end of the season which will make his career with the World renowned team last for just 6 months.
Boateng joined the Blaugrana in a shock move from the Italian side US Sassuolo three months ago.
The La Liga leaders announced the arrival of Boateng on an initial loan deal with the option for an €8 million permanent move in the summer.
However, it seems he has failed to impress the coach and hence the decision to offload him.
