Bernard Joseph Cribbins was an esteemed English actor and singer. He was also known for his singing. His professional life spans a whopping seven decades.
During the 1960s, he rose to prominence in the United Kingdom as a result of the commercial success of his novelty albums, including “The Hole in the Ground” and “Right Said Fred.”
In addition, he had roles in a number of comedic motion pictures, including “Two-Way Stretch” (1960) and the Carry On series.
Other parts that he has played in cinema include Albert Perks in “The Railway Children” (1970), barman Felix Forsythe in Alfred Hitchcock’s “Frenzy” (1972), and questionable hotel visitor Mr. Hutchinson in the episode of “Fawlty Towers” titled “The Hotel Inspectors” (1975).

Despite being informed that he had prostate cancer in 2009, Cribbins said in 2018 that, at the age of 90, he was “in stable health,” with the exception of a “nagging back condition.” Despite being 90 years old, he managed to do this.
He died quietly on July 27, 2022, when he was 93 years old. He did, however, die away from natural causes.
