Beware of these prophets, they can ensure that their false prophecies come to pass – KiDi advises

Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat artiste, Kidi has said people especially celebrities must take the prophecies of these so-called prophets seriously since although it may be untrue, they can do everything possible to make it happen so to prove a point.

Kidi made the comments following a prophecy by Prophet Akwasi Appiah also known as Jesus Ahuofe that: “Wendy Shay will be kidnapped and used for sacrifice” this year.

Jesus Ahuofe also added that: “Tell Wendy Shay that if she does not give her life to God, before December, some people will kidnap her to acquire powers. Spiritually, I see her being kidnapped and placed in a small room for 21 days and crying after which she will be sacrificed. Wendy Shay this is a bad year for her, tell her.”

Speaking on Accra 100.5FM’s mid-morning show, Ayeeko Ayeeko on Tuesday, 4 January 2020, Kidi described such public announcements of doom as wrong.

The highlife artiste told show host Nana Romeo that: “This is serious, I think sometimes we take these things for granted but these things need to stop. We have to stop certain things. As a prophet, if you get a revelation about someone, you contact the person, the person is a public figure, you can easily contact them but if you come on radio and TV and say all these about the person, anytime they’re going about the daily activities they’ll be thinking about it, that they’ve said this about me, every time they’ll be panicking.

“My mum told me something about these people, though they’ve said it, it’s not of God but because they want the congregation to believe in the prophecies they give…they’ll also ensure that the prophecy comes true. It’s not right, we need to check some of these things, God is with us, we’re okay.”
