Under a charity program dubbed “Butterfly Your World“, CEO of The Soft Group, BigGodwin Martey and a group of friends decided to put a smile on the faces of the poor and the needy on the streets of Accra.
In photos shared on BigGodwin’s Facebook handle, one can see cupcakes, ice-creams, food, assorted drinks, among others being handed over to children, physically challenged and even grown-ups.
Mr Martey remarked in his caption that the greatest joy of his life is seeing a major transformation in the life of his brothers, sisters and children on the streets.
“Our lives were touched and greatly impacted as we ministered Love to our brothers, sisters and kids on the Street. The Greatest Joy of my Life is to see my friends, kids, brothers, sisters on street completely transformed.“, he wrote.
Mr Martey further disclosed that he has a plan underway together with his team where they’re looking at a progressive and comprehensive means by which they can permanently remove these streets dwellers completely from the streets and have them established in life.
“We are putting a Comprehensive Plan in place to remove them from the Street totally, get them empowered in various ways, ( through vocational skills, schools, trading, business start ups, mentoring and training etc) and then integrate them into the Society as the new Butterflies so they can also join us to go and save more others!“, Mr Martey wrote in conclusion.
