Billboard has released its Top 15 Sub-Saharan African Artists.

Billboard’s Top 15 Sub-Saharan African Artists featured not a single Ghanaian artist on their platform.

This is really a big blow to the Ghanaian music industry notwithstanding, Celebrities Buzz believes they did their compilation base on hard work and data provided.

The list was compiled with data from the listed artistes over a period of the last 20 years (since 2000).

The list topped by Nigeria’s Burna Boy also has other top African artistes in Diamond Platnumz, Davido, Wizkid, Fally Ipupa, Tekno, Mr. Eazi, Harmonize, Yemi Alade, Joe Boy.

YouTube’s music trends manager Kevin Meenan, described Platnumz’s achievements in the music industry as mind-blowing after the list was released.

“In that time, Platnumz has a mind-blowing 3.6 million subscribers and 980 million views on his channel, about 80% of them from outside of Tanzania. For the measurement period of May 1, 2019, to May 1, 2020, globally, Kenya, which is on Tanzania’s northern border, drove the most views for Platnumz, followed by Tanzania and the United States,” said Kevin Meenan.

Congrats to all the artists enlisted.
