Late Reggae music icon, Bob Marley, has wished Ghanaians a Happy Independence Day as they commemorate their 63rd Anniversary today, 6th March 2020.

Bob Marley via his Twitter handle wrote:

“Happy Independence Day to the people of Ghana. #AfricaUnite”

The ‘No Woman No Cry” hitmaker has got love for Ghana when he was alive.

His wife Rita Marley was recently given a Ghanaian citizenship benefit by President Nana Addo.

She was one of 126 Africans who were bestowed with the new status. Rita Marley has been aiding Ghana in different areas for over 10 years.

Celebrities Buzz has also gathered that Rita Marley has been living in Aburi — a town in the Akuapim South Municipal District of the Eastern Region for the past 2 decades.

She is involved in projects that enhance the educational system through her Rita Marley Foundation.
