The president during his tenth address to the nation regarding the measures taken against spread of coronavirus in Ghana, revealed that government’s decision to ease up restriction on social gathering.

According to him, religious activities are expected to commence from Friday, June 5th, 2020. He however stated that, religious gatherings must operate in accordance with safety measure ranging from the wearing of masks, the use of hand sanitizers, a meter apart rule with a maximum of a minute an hour for each service.

This decision he stated came as a result of a broader consultation government held with all necessary stakeholders on the matter.

He further added that, the various religious bodies should use the opportunity to pray for the country during these trying moments.
