The partial two weeks lock down directive by government to help regulate activities and prevent the spread of the deadly has been extended by one more week.

The president of the republic made this known during his 6th address to the nation. This he explained was informed by the recent increase in the number of confirmed cases in Ghana, which is now 378 in total.

He added that, the surge in the numbers was due to the mass testing of those who arrived in the country and the effective tracing and testing of people who have make contact with those infected.

He pleaded with the general populace to cooperate with the directive by staying at home to help ease up government’s efforts to protect everyone.

This implies that, operation Covid-Safety will still work to maintain and enforce the directives clearly spelt-out by the president. please stay home and be safe
