Everybody wants to be rich, almost everyone wishes to have countless monies in their bank accounts.

Most people you’ll come across wish to be like world Billionaires and Millionaires such as Bill Gates, Jack Ma, Warren Buffet, Aliko Dangote just to mention a few.

But the question is, the very rich people we see in our communities, did they just become what they’re today just after sleeping and waking up and doing nothing?

If all you do is spend your money on luxuries, new clothes, expensive drinks, and foods among others, then your chances of becoming financially independent are very slim.

The only truth that we refuse to realize is, you must “make hay while the sun shines”.

As young as you are now, start something. Invest your money into some useful venture instead of wasting it on pleasures that don’t really matter.

Of course, it’s okay to ‘spoil’ yourself once in a while but it doesn’t mean you should make spoiling yourself an everyday thing.

Also, note that your friends may mock you for not enjoying like them but just stay focused. You’ll be a happy man when you time of harvest comes.

And as Nigerian author, Reno Omokri puts it, “Build wealth when you‘re young and ignore your friends who laugh at you for not enjoying life like them. Then enjoy your wealth when it has flourished and refrain from laughing at those same ‘friends’ when the realities of life hits them in old age”
