Shatta Wale has agreed with statements made by his manager that he’s more popular than President Nana Addo.
”Shatta Wale is bigger than Nana Akufo-Addo…in terms of popularity. What we do as entertainment people or people on TV, we’re miles ahead of all these politicians”, Bulldog boldly said last week in an interview with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM’s mid-morning entertainment show ”Best Entertainment”.
Bulldog’s assertion came on the back of Shatta Wale storming Circle by foot after one of his die-hard fans dropped off passengers in his van and paid them back their fares just to meet him at Hitz FM.
Reacting to Bulldog‘s opinion, Shatta agreed that he was right.
The dancehall musician while speaking in an interview with Angel Drive Host Ike De Unpredictable on Kumasi-based Angel Fm explained that: “What my manager Bulldog is saying is true. I’m more popular than President Akufo-Addo”.
He further said that “President Akufo-Addo cannot sing like the way I sing and Ghanaians follow showbiz more than Politics”.
“Though I’m popular and I have plenty people who support my music but I will never disrespect President Akufo-Addo because of my popularity. He is our president and he deserves our respect” Shatta Wale remarked.
