It had been two weeks since the citizens of one of Africa’s most largest country’s; Nigeria patrol to and fro the corners of their country demanding freedom from the special anti-robbery squad.
It had been a peaceful protest until the undone was done on the 20th October,2020.
The streets of Lekki was filled with the blood of it’s own people as special forces were instructed to pull the trigger on many of the protesters living most death and others in critical condition.
It is no fallacy that videos and pictures of many of the people present at Lekki toll gate spread across all over social media. It was soo pathetic.
The sights of those images were enough to get one traumatized and thus the famous Burna boy was a victim.
In his tweet, he explained how he had sleepless nights due to what happened on that black Tuesday.
He said..
“I have not slept since 20/10/2020. I close my eyes and all I see is Lekki toll gate. I’ve seen a lot of voilence and death in life but this is one that has traumatized me”
Indeed, an act of violence was very unacceptable and culprits must me held in custody for cutting the lives of many short.
