Ghanaian radio personality, Caroline Sampson has left YFM. The 34-year-old media personality joined the station in 2009 and after all these years of working, she has finally decided to quit.
She took to Twitter to announce that her contract with the station has ended this year and she has no intention to extend it any further.
She tweeted: “Guys, Yfm has been my home for close to a decade now and we’ve had a successful working relationship. Effective immediately, my contract with Yfm has ended and I’m no longer their employee. Thank You to Yfm and everyone that has supported my career over the years. Shalom.”
Caroline Sampson (born 2 August 1984), is a Ghanaian radio presenter, TV show host, a compere and a voice over artist best known for her TV and Radio commercials. She began her career in the media in 2005 when she ended up as a finalist in the third edition of the Ghanaian reality TV pageant Miss Malaika Ghana.
Aside the TV and radio presenting, Caroline has hosted reality TV shows, corporate events and other movie premieres and album launches. She was the first anglophone African and Ghanaian to win the award for Best Presenter at the Stars Integration of Culture of Africa festival & competition held in Benin.
Caroline Sampson is noted to have worked at GTV, TV3, ETV Ghana, Citi FM, Atlantis Radio, Yfm , and Kwese TV.
