CCTV captured the faces of attackers of the devastating Tuesday terror attack on Dusit Complex on 14 Riverside Drive.
The attackers had made their way to the junction linking Chiromo Lane with Riverside Drive and remained parked for thirty minutes before the incident.
The suspected Alshabaab militants then forced their way into the parking lot which was later followed by a huge explosion at the Secret Garden Hotel.
Interior CS Fred Matiang’i at around 11pm addressed the nation and stated that he had informed President Uhuru Kenyatta of the ongoing operation by the police.
Matiang’i further affirmed the sentiments made earlier by Inspector General Joseph Boinnet that the buildings affected were secured.
” The security teams have evacuated scores of Kenyans and other nationalities from the buildings.
” We are now in the final stages of mopping up the area and securing evidence and documenting the the consequences of the unfortunate events,” stated Matiang’i.
Statehouse had earlier warned Kenyans to refrain from sharing the videos of the attack at Dusit Hotel carried out by notorious terror group.
