The Yaa Naa was installing the Vo Naa Mahamadu Bawa as the new chief of the Dagbon town when the fight broke out.
Sources say the youth of the town preferred the Chief of Zosali for the new role.
The youth are burning tires in town – warning to the new Yaa Naa appointee if the decision is not reversed.
Savelgu Police commander DSP Twumasi Ankrah has confirmed the incident.
