He wrote columns for The New Republic, The Washington Post, The Weekly Standard, Time, Inside Washington and Fox News Channel.

In 1987, he earned the Pulitzer Prize award for the columns he wrote for The Washington Post. He became Vice President Walter Mondale’s speech writer in 1980.

Charles Krauthammer was married to Robyn Trethewey, a lawyer and artist, from 1974 till he died.

They had a son by the name of Daniel Krauthammer. Charles Krauthammer passed away on June 21, 2018, after battling small intestine cancer.

He died at the age of 68 years in a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America.
