China’s police are now wearing Smart Helmets that identify potential Coronavirus carriers.

After the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus in China, the government took pragmatic steps to protect the lives of citizens and to contain the spread.

Wuhan a province in China was the epicenter of the outbreak with huge numbers of affected people.

The government of China built three hospitals in a matter of days to serve as centers for the infected individuals so they do not infect others with it.

Schools were closed, public gatherings were banned and major cities were put on lockdown.

Currently, China has recorded 81,000 confirmed cases, 3,255 deaths, with 71,000 recovered.

The number of new cases has gone down drastically and the entire country has put a restriction of travels to and fro.

To complement their effort against the fight, the police force has been given smart helmets that are fused with infrared and other technological equipment that helps them identify a carrier of the virus from a distance.

This is a new initiative introduced by the government as the work frantically to bring the situation under control.

Statistically, there 301,644 confirmed Coronavirus cases worldwide, 12,955 deaths while 94,625 have recovered.
