This may sound weird but may be, it’s kind of a ritual. A dead footballer’s coffin was sent to the football field for him to play his very last game before his burial.
His colleague footballers carried his remains to the field with them dressed in jersey and boots.
They played a little bit of football with one person ringing a bell in a timely manner.
After some few minutes, the coffin was raised and then sent to the cemetery for final burial rites.
This is my first time of seeing something of this sort. The event is said to have occurred in Akatsi, Volta Region of Ghana.
