Coronavirus is taking away my shine, the name alone is bigger than I – Shatta laments

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is not happy with the popularity of the Coronavirus as he believes it is taking away his shine.

Shatta Wale believes the virus has a strong name and is widely known which surpasses his brand.

When news broke of the confirmation of the virus in Ghana, the self-acclaimed dancehall king took to Twitter to motivate Ghanaians as they get ready to turn the situation around.

Shatta Wale is arguably the most popularly local act, thus it is very surprising that he says the Coronavirus and its popularity are eating up his brand.

The widespread compelled dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, to suspend his America tour with award-winning Afropop singer, Davido also postponing his ongoing ‘A Good Time’ North American Tour due to the outbreak.

He wrote:
