The Enchi District Police have arrested a couple for beating their four-year-old daughter to death for bed-wetting.
Effah Donaldson, 34, and her 27-year-old wife Salome Oteku allegedly used a cane to beat their 4-year-old daughter until she passed out.
They made the deceased 4-year-old Francisca Etuteh sit in hot water before punishing her for wetting the bed. According to the Enchi District Police, the young girl’s arm was broken as a result of the abuse, and she died as a result.
The unfortunate incident occurred a few days ago in Yakase, Aowin Municipality, Western North Region.
According to ACP Henry Bacho, Enchi Police Divisional Commander, the couple took their daughter to the Aowin Community Clinic, but she died while receiving treatment.
