It is good news in the camp of Arsenal Football Club as their head coach Mikel Arteta recovers fully from the Coronavirus.

Mikel Arteta was the first English coach to contract the virus in February and it was a big blow to many football loving fans.

Upon testing positive, he was isolated and medical attention was given to him immediately. Players and staff of the Arsenal Football Club were equally tested as they may have contracted the virus due to proximity to the manager.

Announcing the news on his official Facebook page, Mikel Arteta expressed gratitude at the prayers and support he has gotten from his loved ones.

He wrote:

I’m now cleared, negative update of corona virus. THANKS GOD. Thanks for your prayers.
