According to a press statement released by the Ghana Health Service on 28th January,2021, the covid-19 test is now free on specific basis.

In the press released by the Ghana Health Service, all other walk-in request such as ill health, contact tracing and exposure must be done free of charge

Again, only travellers both in and out of the country are supposed to pay for the cost of the test.

All public health laboratories are cautioned by the Ghana Health Service to take note and comply to it.
