In Portugal’s 4-0 Nations League victory against the Czech Republic on Saturday night, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a nasty-looking facial injury that required medical attention.
The 37-year-old started the game but was injured just 13 minutes in when he clashed with the opponent’s goalie, Tomas Vaclik, at home. Ronaldo was pursuing a ball that had been played over the top of the defence and that Vaclik had come out to grab.
