Ghanaian musician, songwriter and former signee of Hygrade Family who hails from Takoradi, Kofi Kinaata has labeled most songs in Ghana as trash.

According to him in a recent interview, gone were the days where artists made sense with the lyrical content used in their songs.

He said most songs being played on airwaves across Ghana now is more unless trash.

“We have made listeners like prisoners. All songs produced lately are one way selling the same message as compared to the days of AB Crenstil, Nana Ampadu and others,” he said in an interview on Zylofon TV.

He however said his case is different because of his love for Reggae when he was growing up.

He may be speaking the truth since all we get to listen on songs recently are nothing but Skupatumana.
