Controversial Nigerian theologist and radio broadcaster, Daddy Freeze, has said that Africans were strong until our colonial masters brought in their religions to silent our spirits.

Freeze illustrated this by posting a video of a young man who was able to sustain bullets from police officers using ‘black magic’.

He noted that this was how strong we were and the Whites were aware and they knew very well that the only way they could subdue us was to break our spirits.

So they shipped in their so-called ‘religions’ that could set us free.

Below were his words:

“This is how strong we were before the influx of imported religions. They knew that to break us, they had to break our spirits and in order to do so, they gave us a Romanized, paganized, Europeanized version of Christianity that destroyed our traditions.

As a true Christian, I don’t undermine Egypt and Ethiopia in my quest for unearthing genuine Christianity. The scriptures in Acts Chapter 8 are clear; An Ethiopian eunuch, an African, was reading aloud from the book of Isaiah at a time when the English language was not invented and England did not even exist as a country.

It makes no rational sense to assume that those who enslaved us physically could give us a faith that would set our spirits free.

I personally do not believe in practicing sorcery or dark magic, but I’d rather practice African dark magic than the European version of Christianity, which without the magic is just ‘dark’.

The true Christ is nothing like the ‘Jesus’ you read about in their books. He’s humble, loving, forgives his enemies, loves the poor, has no value for material possessions, does not give people riches or women husbands, never wined and dined with politicians and neither did his true disciples. In a nutshell, he’s a total departure from what you see in Nigeria today, with so many churches, so much poverty and so little love and forgiveness.

I implore you today to search for and find that true Christ and practice that version of true Christianity, or else all you’d be doing is practicing ‘dark magic’ without the magic; just the darkness!

New Living Translation
But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!
