The sudden departure of one of the journalists with the Despite Media Group and UTV has sent shockwaves down the spines of media practitioners in the country.
Kwadwo Wiafe Annor died at the Nyaho Medical Centre in Accra after a short illness on June 4, 2020. He was the host of Yenko Fie on Neat FM, a subsidiary of the Despite Media and an event host.
He was one of the key MCs at the glamorous wedding ceremony of Kennedy and Tracy which caused a great stir.
After some workers and management of the Despite Media Group and UTV visited the family, the date for his funeral rites has been announced.
According to the family, the final funeral rites for the late Kwadwo Wiafe will be held on July 4, 2020, after his week-week commemoration had been held on 12th June 2020.
