Media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay has apologised to veteran musician Obrafour following a GHC800,000 lawsuit from him.

The musician sued Delay and Ayisha Modi for comments deemed as defamatory on Delay TV show.

In the interview, Ayisha Modi said she’s a music producer and that she once invested $45,000 in Obrafour’s album, but she wasn’t rewarded for her efforts.

“I produced Obrafour’s ‘Kasiebo’. I invested close to $45000 but I didn’t even get GH¢1 from the song. I did this investment at a time when I didn’t even have a plot of land or a house,” Aisha Modi said this in the Twi language in an interview on Delay TV.

Well, following her comments, Obrafour went to the court to sue the Host and the Guest which is Delay and Ayisha Modi.

Obrafour known in real life as Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko has described these comments from Ayisha as false and a dent on his career which has spanned 20 years+.

For that matter, in a writ of summons, Obrafour is demanding a retraction and apology from Ayisha Modi, the host and producers of the Delay Show. These he demanded to be published in the Daily Graphic Newspaper.

He is seeking for GHS 800,000 if Ayisha Modi, Delay and the producers of the Delay Show decline to retract and have it published in the Daily Graphic Newspaper as stated.

Delay after the court writ came public never spoke on it but for the first time, she has apologised via a video on Instagram.

Good afternoon, I greet everyone. In August, I interviewed Ayisha Mordi also known as ‘She Loves Stonebwoy’ and while the interview was going on, issues concerning Obrafour came in. I want to clear the air for people to understand that as a Host, my duty is to ask questions so the answers that a Guest gives does not concern me. So I am coming out to say that I do not endorse what Ayisha said about Obrafour. I distance myself from all the comments. And I want to apologise to Obrafour“, Delay said in Twi.
