Alan Eugene Jackson is an American singer-songwriter, he was born on October 17, 1958. He is well known for his fusing contemporary country pop, with traditional honky-tonk music, which creates a sound that is referred to as “neotraditional country.” He also writes a lot of songs, which he performs. He has released various albums, which includes 16 studio albums, three greatest-hits compilations, two holiday albums, and two gospel albums. He was inducted to the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2001 and he is a member of the Grand Ole Opry. However, In 2017, Alan was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, by Loretta Lynn, and also into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018.

Jackson is one of the most successful musicians of all time, he has over 75 million recordings, which is sold globally, including 44 million in the US. On the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks list, 66 of his songs have been played, six featured singles have reached the top five, and 35 have reached the top position. Nine albums have received multi-platinum certification out of the 15 that made it onto the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Additionally he was a nominee for numerous other honors, and he has won two Grammy Awards, 16 CMA Awards, and 17 ACM Awards.
