There has been a great controversy in the world, as to whether Christians pray to God or Jesus Christ.

The thing is, God and Jesus Christ are one. They are not separate and cannot be separated. When you read the Gospel of John 1:1, the Bible says, “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God”. Coming down to verse fourteen of the same John 1, the Bible says the word which was God became flesh and dwelt among men. Jesus said in John 8:24 that anybody who does not believe that He is God shall die in their sins.

In brief, Jesus Christ is God who came in flesh to die to save us from our sins as the Bible says in Hebrews 10:5; that God needed only flesh when he was coming into the world.
