Former president John Dramani Mahama secured an early victory this morning after the Supreme Court granted his application to amend his election petition.

The motion was opposed by the respondents but a seven panel chaired by the Chief Justice gave the opportunity to Mahama to make corrections to the typographical errors in the submitted petition.

With intensive pressure on the court to telecast proceedings of his petition challenging the presidential election outcome, it has been confirmed the entire trial will be telecast live on television.
