Ghanaian dance-hall artiste, Samini, has joined in the campaign for the consumption of locally-grown Ghanaian rice.
The campaign for patronizing Ghanaian rice has been on the grounds for a while now and the dance hall star Samini urges Ghanaian to patronize locally grown rice especially as the festive season approach.
In a video circulating on Facebook, the Ghanaian star was seen on a rice farm educating the public about the need to consume local rice.
“On this note, rice from Ghana is what all Ghanaians must eat, both at home and abroad. This is rice from Ghana and if we start patronizing rice from Ghana, in the next 20 years or even less, you will be surprised what the Ghanaian economy is going to be like,” the Gyae Shi hitmaker said.
He also disclosed that he will be launching his own brand of local rice very soon.
“Watch out for my own brand of rice,” He said.
