Former RuffTown Records Signee, Fantana names the hardworking female musicians who inspired her into music.

Born Francine Koffie, Fantana was engaged in a social media conversation by Yen where she was asked the kind of genre she categorized herself in music.

In her answer, she chooses Afro Dancehall as her best genre she want to focus on because she feels comfortable doing it. The Afro Dancehall genre was arguably established by Ghanaian Act, Stonebwoy with his ability to blend Afrobeats and Dancehall together becoming a trend.

she further stated that Ebony, Kaakie and Shensea who all found themselves in the Dancehall vibes were the people who inspired her during her upcoming days.

“I will say Afro dancehall as that’s what I now feel very comfortable with. I was inspired by females like the late Ebony, Kaakie, Shensea and they are all in the dancehall fraternity #YenWithFantana” she wrote.
